Using the logo
A few simple rules keep our logo clear and recognisable, whoever uses it and wherever it appears.
Use the official files
Download the logo from this page. Don't copy it from a website, a screenshot or a forwarded image, and never redraw or retype it.
Pick the right version
Use a dark wordmark on white and light backgrounds, and a light one on dark backgrounds. On a photo, place the logo over a plain, even area.
Give it space
Keep at least x clear on every side, where x is the height of the bar with the letters YWCA. Keep text, images and the edge of the page out of it.
Keep it readable
Don't use the YWCA of India Logo smaller than 120 px wide on screen or 30 mm in print, or the YWCA Logo smaller than 32 px or 10 mm.
Keep it as it is
Don't stretch, rotate, recolour or rearrange the logo, or add shadows, outlines or other effects. Resize it from a corner, so it keeps its shape.
Use YWCA Blue exactly
The triangle is always YWCA Blue. The wordmark is always neutral: black, white or a shade of grey, never a colour. When a design needs the brand colour, use the values above, not a close match.
Please don't…
Stretch or squash it
Change its colours
Rotate it
Add shadows or effects
Retype or rearrange it
Place it where it can't be seen
